Eliana Dockterman (edockterman): It's time to forgive Hayden Christensen for the 'Star Wars' prequels

Darth Vader in Lucasfilm'sBoth McGregor and Christensen appear to be acutely aware of the deleterious effect the prequels had on Christensen’s career. Much of the press tour forhas centered on the reclamation of the prequels and Anakin in particular. “I found it quite hard,”of the reaction to the prequels. “For it to come out and get knocked so hard was personally quite difficult to deal with.

He went on to say the tides are turning. “Now I meet the people who we made those films for, who were the kids of the time,” he said. “And ourfilms. In the way that Carrie Fisher and Alec Guinness and Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford’s films were ours, we’re theirs. And that’s beautiful that they were important to the kids who we made them for. It’s just so nice to finally get that wave of positivity about them.

Hoping to capture that younger demographic, the trailers coyly tease a rematch between Anakin and Obi-Wan. LucasFilm could have put anyone inside that Vader suit. But they’re bringing back Christensen because Obi-Wan Kenobi is wracked with guilt for letting his trainee Anakin turn to the dark side, and the show will reportedly find Obi-Wan a broken man looking out for little Luke Skywalker on Tatooine.

how he felt about the fans finally embracing him, Christensen replied, “I guess the moral of the story is patience.”

edockterman He was one of the least offensive aspects of the prequels - and gotta admire the guy for delivering some of the worst dialogue in a major film franchise

edockterman No matter how poorly George Lucas made it, he made it a million times better than Star Wars Sequel.

edockterman தூக்கிப்போட்டு ஓக்க இம்புட்டு பயமா? போலீஸ் நாய்க்கு பயமா இல்லை நீதிபுண்டைக்கு பயமா?

edockterman Prequels were dope! Incredible soundtrack, groundbreaking CGI, and a proper beginning, middle, and end to the trilogy. Force Awakens forward lacked all three.

edockterman I cnt forgive Jarjar sorry…lol

edockterman On the contrary, I liked him better than Natalie in the movie. I don't know why he's abandoned by the Hollywood.

edockterman Squint? Some of us liked them first go round. Art is subjective. You know this.

edockterman

edockterman Hayden Christensen has never needed and does not now need your 'forgiveness' He is an absolute walking legend and you are the one who should be so lucky to ever receive forgiveness for publishing this

edockterman Go to hell TIME! Nobody should read a thing from a idiot who works as the same company as CNN! Real fans wont forgive idiots like you causing George to sell the movies to Disney. Fuck off fake news hack!

edockterman Even the worse of haydens acting and bad dialogue was 100 times better than all 3 disney sequels combined

edockterman So arrogant to imply that he deserves ‘forgiveness’. He did his job under a terrible director and an even worse script. Audiences need to stop pretending they own entertainment media. He should be forgiving the haters for being stuck up and over-privileged. Shame on you

edockterman Nothing to forgive, he played it like he should've.

edockterman The 'Star Wars Prequels' are classics close to the last three made by Disney.

edockterman Hayden was never to blame. You can’t act your way out of bad writing when you are surrounded by nothing but green. The prequels are the fault of the Star Wars franchise being too big and no one being able to tell George Lucas no.

edockterman No forgiveness needed - I LOVED him as Anakin - the ONLY one who could pull it off also because he was tall AND Fine AF - great actor too. I'm sure Natalie didn't mind smooching with him.

edockterman No, I rewatched the films and his performance in the 2nd film particularly his delivery was really bad. There was a marked improvement in the 3rd but still leaves us wanting.

edockterman No

edockterman

edockterman “Time” to forgive? He never did anything wrong in the first place.

edockterman I loved him when I saw it for the first time a year ago. It sucks I let the fandom dissuade me from watching back in the day. The prequels and Hayden are terrific.

edockterman Just the read the article. Very cringe. You couldn’t have found someone who actually likes Star Wars to write it?

edockterman There’s nothing to forgive, but critics have a lot to apologize to him for.

edockterman Hayden doesn't need to be forgiven because the prequels are just as good as the originals. I always loved them. The people who bash them are the problem.

edockterman F4F here

edockterman How many times are you going to repost this?

edockterman nothing needed to forgive

edockterman I love the repost but I'm still going to say it: no, HE needs to forgive US, you goof

edockterman He should have never been blamed to begin with. The fault only lies with the fandom.. Hayden was tasked by writers to play a 17/18 year old man who was encountering his first girlfriend amidst the tragedies of his life. The dialogue is written perfectly for this role.

edockterman Absolute nonsense. The Star Wars fandom needs to give itself a good shake at the way they treated old, and now new, cast members. Hayden was fantastic & did what he could with what was frankly, cringe and subpar writing imo.

edockterman You the response to this article the last time you tweeted it right? This is some bs take and Hayden doesn’t need to be forgiven for anything

edockterman Um no, it’s time people apologize to HIM, He did great with what he was given, Star Wars fans are just toxic as hell he deserves a major apology from everyone, he doesn’t need to be “forgiven” from anything

edockterman Yeeeeah no one's blaming him; the issues were the terrible writing and inflexible direction.

edockterman It’s time he forgave Y’ALL! Don’t get it twisted.

edockterman I didnt like the performance or the dialogue for him that much. There isnt anything to forgive though cause some people like it. I just didnt

edockterman absolutely, but what about poor Jake Lloyd?

edockterman You had all this time to change that headline yet you didn't.

edockterman The forgiveness you seek is your own for this hack article… move along👋🏼

edockterman No, its time for you people to apologize to him. Hayden did his job and was a fantastic Anakin.

edockterman He never needed to be forgiven. He played an awkward teen/young adult who was torn from his mother and raised in a religious cult. He played that character better than most give him credit for.

edockterman And why do they forgive George Lucas? It is all about money.

edockterman I loved the prequels. & I love how Hayden played Anakin.

edockterman When director sucks at making dialogues, such things should be left to screenwriters and actors themselves. He can't write good lines, but he can write good characters, psychology and engaging storyline.

edockterman That is a fair point. Actors are not at fault, and Hayden did a good job overall. The blame for awkwardness and cheesy lines are only on George Lucas. He is a great inventor and a fantastic director. His ideas and concepts are wonderful, but when it comes to dialogues - he sucks.

edockterman It’s amazing Lucas could take such great material and make the result so bad.

edockterman Um. If anything, he should be forgiving the fandom, and even then he isn’t obligated.

edockterman The fandom needs to apologize for the way they treated the cast. And the way they're STILL treating cast members.

edockterman Star Wars prequels were George Lucas fault, never Hayden, Jake Loyd, Natalie Portman or Jar Jar Binks. Prequels were excellent concept horribly executed besides Ewan Mcgregor performance, which was only true thing to break through horrible writing/directing. kenobi vader

edockterman NO.

edockterman he made no such transgression that requires forgiveness. he is the best and deserves nothing but the best.

edockterman Not this bullshit again. Leave Hayden alone, he didn't do anything wrong.

edockterman A) the prequels were largely good, particularly in contrast to the new trilogy B) he was great in Revenge of the Sith C) the sand line wasn’t his fault at all, not even Daniel Day Lewis could have saved that one

edockterman Nothing to forgive, he didn’t write the damn things.

edockterman no one hated him, the writing was the issue.

edockterman most irritating actor ever. his face defines annoying.

edockterman I don't like Anakin. He's coarse and rough and irritating and he gets everywhere.

edockterman Even as a jaded Gen X er, there's a lot to love about those movies.

edockterman He doesn't need to be forgiven. He's the one who should do the forgiving.

edockterman Media... -_-

edockterman it's outrageous to blame him

edockterman

edockterman You know what Anakin will never forgive? Sand. He hates it.

edockterman I thought he did fine except for maybe the last one. He was supposed to be ambivalent about things, detached, unsure of himself socially(yet overconfident in ability) - That's the entire theme and how he became DV.

edockterman No, it really isn't.

edockterman It wasn't his fault. The writing was not good for Anakin in Attack of the clones, but revenge of the sith was good

edockterman I love all the star wars not sure why ppl hated any of them

edockterman Guys rate my nude photos)

edockterman Neither forgiveness nor forgetness.

edockterman The new Star Wars set the bar so incredibly low that its possible to look back and tolerate Lucas running it into the ground 20 years ago.

edockterman Umm no..you should apologize to Hayden for this headline. 😬

edockterman Hayden was awesome you silly billy. Have you seen the films? 🥰

edockterman forgive him for what

edockterman No it actually isn't - that was some terrible acting

edockterman People need to be saying sorry to Ahmed Best.

edockterman The reissue of Episode II & III via the Revolution was totally, 'Awesome!' If the Revolution was to make an single contribution to the country of America, it would be to complete the Lucasfilm, 'Tinseltown,' family album, the Star Wars series.

edockterman Awful films

edockterman No

edockterman I loved the movies as much as I did the first 3 as a kid. Don't know what you're on about

edockterman I hate sand

edockterman Wtf 😡 who says Star Wars the prequel sucked? They r amazing

edockterman

edockterman

edockterman Met him at the Star Wars Celebration - what a nice guy he is.

edockterman Nope

edockterman Hayden did him! I came up on the prequels, will enjoy it again in obiwankenobi . Stop the hate, damn.

edockterman Too soon.

edockterman They were great movies, and his performances were terrific. Nobody needs forgiving except critics who still don't understand the material.

edockterman lol actors/actresses are now being held accountable for “acting”? We are in trouble.

edockterman

edockterman But never, ever, let him act again.

edockterman I agree, but little bit more diversity would help too. Is need more now than ever with hillaryforprison trending.. :S stopthehate 🏳️‍🌈

edockterman He doesn’t need forgiveness. You’re out of touch and don’t know what you’re writing about.

edockterman Just because The Clone Wars repaired the prequel damage doesn't change the fact that it happened and it was bad.

edockterman Shame on the writer. Hayden (nor anyone in the prequel trilogy) doesn't need to be forgiven for anything because he did nothing wrong. The films' reception wasn't his fault. He followed his director, like everybody else. That headline and the article is a big reach. SMH.

edockterman Anyone who doubts his acting ability needs to watch Shattered Glass.

edockterman Never

edockterman No

edockterman Forgive for what Why? Ewan MacGregor delivered his crappy lines with more finesse. Hayden is just not a good actor, his career since is proof. He’s fine enough in them. But the role could have been a lot better with say Ryan Gosling.

edockterman Hayden Christensen wasn't the problem in those movies. The poor writing was to blame.

edockterman i blame jarjar

edockterman

edockterman He didn't do anything wrong. The writing/directing was the issue.

edockterman He doesn’t need to be forgiven for powering through a bad script dialogue wise but thanks for playing

edockterman

edockterman ? i was in love with him when i was smol, i had no idea y’all cancelled him

edockterman No!

edockterman Cat women

edockterman Absolutely not.

edockterman But I can never forget the iconic signature line, 'I hate sand.'

edockterman But I'll never forget, 'I hate sand.'

edockterman U mean we should apologize to Hayden Christensen for being Original overrated trilogy nut huggers. And hating him for actually trying to bring dramatic acting into Star Wars. Granted he couldn’t accomplish it with George Lucas terrible dialogue. But he and Ewan were the best.

edockterman I don’t know what their is to forgive? I’m disappointed this is even a headline. I can’t wait to see Hayden back! ❤️

edockterman U need to forgive yourself for writing such ignorance. I hope Hayden sees our comments so he knows we don’t agree with this trash

edockterman for WHAT? doing everything george lucas told him to do and reading the script he was given as inatructed? mahbe it's time YOU apologize to Hayden

edockterman this is a bad look for your company and the writer (who knows very little about sw) shouldn't be commenting of this stuff. Do better

edockterman That depends is he sorry for what he did?

edockterman This is being blasted on tik tok 😂😂👍🏼

edockterman Forgive for what?

edockterman Dumbass article. Forgive him for what? Acting as directed? For a great movie? Sounds like your writer needs to work on her attitude 😂

edockterman After the sequel disaster everything about prequels turned out to be so lovely

edockterman No, never

edockterman If it was such a disaster, why does everyone love them so much!?

edockterman The prequels were never bad. They just weren’t the OT. They are Citizen Kane compared to the Disney sequels…

edockterman Forgive? We should praise the guy.

edockterman Um. Yes. He did not write or direct those movies.

edockterman Worst article ever.

edockterman I love him.

edockterman I never blamed Hayden. The man who made the prequels and then sold the rights to Disney, of all companies... That guy I have beef with.

edockterman Star Wars fans should be BEGGING for Hayden Christensen’s forgiveness. At the very least, they should thank him for even coming back after the way they treated him.

edockterman This is bad and I hope you feel bad.

edockterman Amazing, every word of what you just said was wrong.

edockterman

edockterman There’s nothing to forgive, only a Grand Thank You for being our Anakin Skywalker

edockterman stop pushing this, this is a terrible article with no bases of facts at all, complete delusion

edockterman You really blaming Hayden for the prequels? Absolutely not. This garbage narrative is part of the problem.

edockterman Kenobi will hopefully be the vehicle for that forgiveness.

edockterman Miss me with this 'Forgive' nonsense. We need to APOLOGIZE.

edockterman We don't buy bitcoin We earn bitcoin From mining I'm ready to show 10 lucky people how to earn 0.1BTC ($4,000) and more daily! No referral No withdrawal fees If interested, kindly send a DM

edockterman No. The whole fanbase needs to fucking apologize.

edockterman Who blamed Hayden?

edockterman He didn’t do anything wrong, you did

edockterman The fuck you mean 'forgive' we need to APOLOGIZE to him. Dude worked his ass off with the material, guys a goddamn legend.

edockterman forgive Hayden for what? Hayden was perfect in the Prequels and they werent bad movies. its TIME to apologize for the terrible way critics talked about the Prequels and George Lucas.

edockterman Gen x owes me an apology for making me, a child, feel foolish for liking them.

edockterman FORGIVE? nah i’m not hearing this correctly

'Forgive Hayden' implies that he did something wrong.

edockterman This ain't it chief

edockterman Yeah, it's Lucas that I have more of an issue with where that whole thing is concerned ...

edockterman Uh, what? Hell no. The man did nothing wrong.

edockterman Please tell Elana getting ratioed on Twitter does not equal engagement nobody is reading this sh*t

edockterman It’s time for Hayden Haters… to end.

edockterman I mean, he’s not good in them, but George wasn’t an actor’s director. A competent director can get a lot of a lesser actor (see Jenkins and Gadot). I don’t blame anyone in front of the camera for those movies sucking.

edockterman You should be seeking forgiveness for this dogshit headline.

edockterman The writing was shit. Pretty sure he wasn't in the writer's room.

edockterman

edockterman I never lay any blame at him though...

edockterman I won't ever forgive him. Because I've always liked his performance in them growing up. It was only up until a few years ago I about all the shit he and his predecessor went through on the internet because I was a child at the time. Shame on you pricks for bad mouthing them.

edockterman It's time to recognize that a loud minority in the fandom bullies actors and no one should forgive them, but hold them accountable for the hate they keep perpetuating

edockterman Never

edockterman The man just doesn't like sand

edockterman What happened to Time, Reality to much to find a story?

edockterman Forgive him for what? Dude acted exactly as directed. The industry owes him an apology if anything

edockterman I recall Harrison Ford mentioning how angry he got at George Lucas for how stupid some of the lines were. Christensen was too young and Lucas too established... and Lucas too blind to realize the result was terrible. Still a wonderful franchise though.

edockterman What the fuck are you on? We should all be asking him for forgiveness! Same with Ahmed Best, Jake Lloyd, Daisy Ridley, Kelly Marie Tran, Rian Johnson, JJ Abrams, and George Lucas himself. It's on everyone else to beg their forgiveness, not grant it.

edockterman Nothing to forgive. Hayden is a gifted, awesome, actor who did the best with what was written and the direction he was given. The so-called experts who criticized him still don't deserve forgiveness.

edockterman Forgive him for what? How about people who attacked him apologize when he was just doing his job

edockterman So let me get this straight: Hayden gets all this hate, just for playing a role in a movie, and now HE is the one that should ask for forgiveness?

edockterman delete this

edockterman Y’all should be ashamed of writing this ridiculous article. It’s the fans who are lucky Hayden has looked past the way he was treated in the past and come back to Star Wars

edockterman

edockterman go and apologise to Hayden not the other way around! that man has been relentlessly bullied and y’all still can’t let him be at peace!

edockterman Don't mind me, I'm just here for the ratio.

edockterman

edockterman SW fans, do not read the article, just block TIME and the writer’s twitter !

edockterman How about instead of forgiving him for something that wasn't his fault, you all don't apologize for being complete jerks to him?

edockterman It’s time for the industry to apologize to Hayden for his treatment after the “Star Wars” prequels.

edockterman He did a great job considering what he was given. They all did. They were victims of expectation before you get to mis steps in the films production.

edockterman What a shit take. We shouldn’t have to forgive him for anything. We should be asking for his forgiveness for the way people treated him during the prequels. Might as well throw Jake Lloyd and Ahmed Best in there too for good measure, although I don’t think we ever deserve it

edockterman Dang TIME… this is actually garbage journalism.

edockterman He doesn't need forgivness, he needs an apologize

edockterman He's fine and never was the problem

edockterman // yeah cause the guy who got bullied and harassed for simply playing a character needs to apologize. Grow up.

edockterman Forgive? There’s nothing to forgive. More like apologize

edockterman What is there to forgive? Hayden played his part masterfully

edockterman wtf

edockterman 100% of the comments and the qrts are with Hayden and the prequels. Tf you mean i have to forgive Hayden he's my favorite star wars character 😭.

edockterman edockterman - did you actually get paid for this or did they just steal a satirical shitpost? It’s more that “fans” need to beg him for forgiveness for how poorly they treated him after doing nothing wrong

edockterman There’s nothing to forgive, who do you think you are declaring this?

edockterman Hayden is a legend.

edockterman The writers are the ones that need to apologize. Not any of the actors. It’s hard to emote crap writing. Or take it seriously. The story was solid. The dialogue sucked. But that’s not on him.

edockterman Living for the fact almost all the replies are defending Hayden. He deserves it.

edockterman He’s an actor. He came on set and played the role he was told to play. Having criticisms with the prequels is one thing, but acting like he deserved the insane backlash he got is crazy. How about apologizing for all that?

edockterman Star Wars fans should be the ones who should be forgiven after how badly Hayden was treated.

edockterman

edockterman I love the prequels. Episode III is my favorite in the entire franchise.

edockterman We'll think about forgiving you for writing this article.

edockterman This is the dumbest thing you’ve ever published. Call me next time.

edockterman But who will forgive Eliana Dockterman for this shit article

edockterman Oh so you've never seen Star Wars

edockterman WE should ask for his forgiveness. He didn't hurt anyone. He didn't go out spreading hate and destroying little kids lives.

edockterman forgive him for what exactly

edockterman

edockterman Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. He can only work with the script in front of him and the director behind the camera demanding a specific performance. 100% of the prequels are George Lucas' fault, good or bad. That man had 100% creative control.

edockterman *We should apologize on are knees for ever slandering Hayden Christensen for being the perfect Anakin. We should also apologize for driving him away from acting and leaving us with shite actors like Chris Pratt doing everything.

edockterman U mean we have to apologize to Hayden Christensen for bullying him for being a character actor who listens to what directors want. Only person who needs forgiveness is a George Lucas and I don’t think he wants it since he has 4 billion in the bank so he doesn’t give a fuck.

edockterman FORGIVE HIM FOR WHAT? HE SHOULD BE FORGIVING YOU GUYS

edockterman Eliana you still got time to delete this

edockterman Forgive? I think it’s time we apologize to him.

edockterman What self entitled take. YOU want Hayden to apologise then go ask him directly, dont write a hit piece. Any eye rolling performance was at the behest of the Director. How about writing a piece on Jake Lloyd the forgotten boy who has spent the last 20yrs trying not to kill himself

edockterman What a dumb headline. We need to apologize to him.

edockterman What an utter piece of nonsense... Why do we need to forgive Hayden? For being great and following the script playing a teenager under George Lucas's direction? For him being bullied for decades?. I think he is the one who people, including the writer, have to apologise to.

edockterman Forgive him for doing his job?

edockterman edockterman

edockterman Why would forgive a great performance?

edockterman Yeah, idk, this is a bad take

edockterman I can forgive him for portraying the Anakin and his emotions so masterfully that he's breaking my heart every time I watch 2 and 3.

edockterman What’s to forgive? Actors didn’t write or direct those films

edockterman He did nothing wrong!!!!

edockterman

edockterman Nah

edockterman Get with the times he was great in those movies. Not to mention forgiveness before action? The show isn’t out yet.

edockterman

edockterman Lmao not you get ratio’ed

edockterman L take

edockterman Hayden is an actor. He was hired to do a job ,he did it. Anything after that is a YOU problem. Not his.

edockterman There was nothing, and I mean nothing, that happened during these movies that George Lucas didn’t 💯 control. This is gross.

edockterman There’s nothing to forgive. It’s the critics and snobs that I hold a grudge against and that shit will never go away. I’m hating y’all MFs to my grave for what you said about Hayden.

edockterman *it is time to apologize to Hayden

edockterman I love a good ratio.

edockterman Forgive? There are countless people that loved these films and Hayden’s portrayal of Anakin, myself included. You write this as if your opinion is absolute. Art is subjective. To say an artist needs your forgiveness is beond ridiculously and a really ugly stance to take.

edockterman Forgive? Last I checked he did his job and did it well. Why apologize for playing the role of a teenage so we'll, that adults have an irrational fit over it. I mean, that's a normal adult response to seeing a teen.

edockterman

edockterman I personally don’t think he needs forgiveness or us to forgive him. He acted the way George Lucas wanted him to, and for the most part did a decent job in Episode 2 and a pretty good job in Episode 3. (In regards to Hayden’s character)

edockterman Forgive him? He didn't do anything.

edockterman Are you for real? I think you mean the reverse.

edockterman I think what they meant to say is 'It's time to apologize to Hayden Christensen for the Star Wars prequels'

edockterman edockterman man this article is wrong on so many levels like have you even seen the prequels before you decided to sh*t on the internet with all due disrespect, I hope you have a really horrible day

edockterman he did nothing wrong besides following the script

edockterman Y'all should be on bended knee, asking for his forgiveness after the way he was treated. Both Anakins, Jake and Hayden, deserved so much better from the public.

edockterman Prequels are way better than the garbage Disney makes excluding some episodes of mando

edockterman Quite frankly I loved him in those, and I'm still mad at Disney starwars for not Including him more in RiseOfSkywalker! 🤷

edockterman Lmao suddenly it’s 2005 again

edockterman there are numerous other movies you could have watched that demonstrate hayden's acting ability. being the victim of a shitty script and shittier director isn't his fault.

edockterman Forgive

edockterman Forgive? For what?!? Hayden gave me the best Anakin. The prequels were my childhood, they were great.

edockterman forgive him for what? my blood is BOILINGG

edockterman What's to forgive?

edockterman and why exactly should he have to apologize for a film he had no creative control over ? 🤨

edockterman It's time to ask for his forgiveness 😊 there I fixed it for u

edockterman go head and delete this for me

edockterman Maybe forgive yourself - Hayden did a wonderful job.

edockterman Forgive HIM?

edockterman What exactly are we forgiving him for? He gave a great performance. It was the horrible people at the time that bullied him and other actors. He did nothing wrong.

edockterman Oof.

edockterman Forgive what ?

edockterman What an embarrassing take to have.

edockterman May be we'll forgive you for this headline in 20 years.

edockterman i'm not reading all of that but i'm happy for you or sorry that happened

edockterman forgive? he did nothing wrong

edockterman These are my kids favorite Star Wars movies by far. Born in 2011 and 2013. He has no cause to ask for forgiveness. Such an asinine take.

edockterman Considering she isn't even following starwars speaks volumes to her credibility. Next ask a real fan for their opinion of the prequel movies.

edockterman Uh, didn’t we do that already?

edockterman What is this garbage?

edockterman Nothing to forgive...

edockterman You mean, he needs to forgive us, right? Right?

edockterman 🤣🤣🤣🤣

edockterman Fuck this article. Hayden did nothing wrong.

edockterman Rage. Just pure rage and the sight of the title.

edockterman This is, with zero doubt, the most ludicrous, asinine, and juvenile take on Anakin/ThePrequels that I have come across via any outlet or individual. ......**ever**. Good job.

edockterman Since when does the person who has been bullied for nearly 20 years, need to be forgiven? Wouldn't it be HIM who can decide if he's ready to forgive those who were hurtful in their words and actions?

edockterman Actually it’s time Ellana and all the butthurt fans apologized to Hayden for the prequels. There, I fixed it for you.

edockterman Oh kriff off, he was great.

edockterman I believe edockterman owes Hayden an apology for this.

edockterman

edockterman I suggest not letting her write pieces on Star Wars anymore, her opinions don’t reflect the views of the Star Wars community, take it from pages that devote their life to this kind of stuff. Embarrassing.

edockterman Do better Time

edockterman It's not time to forgive for this nonsense

edockterman What is this nonsense 🫣

edockterman I thought he did a good job, my issue was with Jar Jar, and the Droid Army.

edockterman Forgive?

edockterman Why would anyone blame any of the actors for the prequels?

edockterman Funny way to spell apologize to. Who really thought this level of condescension was a good idea?

edockterman You spelled 'We should apologize to Hayden Christiansen' wrong.

edockterman edockterman you should as forgiveness for your incompetence...

edockterman It's time for you to get bent, how about that? He didn't bully us.

edockterman This is a really dumb take. An actor's performance is solely under the guidance of the director, so take it up w/ Lucas. Though, considering he gave away the entire $4.2 billion he got from selling Star Wars, something tells me your gripe won't even be a blip on his radar.

edockterman The prequels had a lot of problems, Anakin Skywalker was one of them. Hayden Christensen, however, was not.

edockterman Absolutely worst take ever... Fans should apologize to him for their shitty behavior, not the other way around.

edockterman Oh no. No. He (and the cast) are not to blame. We need to be asking him for HIS forgiveness. A lot of the cast deserve apologies for so many awful things said.

edockterman It's time for edockterman to ask Hayden Christensen for forgiveness

edockterman The Prequels were excellent films with damn fine acting, especially Hayden's, awesome locales and great combat. The people who hate on the Prequels either haven't seen them and are following a meme or took a joke WAY too far. It's a damn shame :/

edockterman Hilarious that apparently it’s one actor who “ruined” these multi-million dollar movies that hundreds of people contributed to, but sure, okay, let’s go with that. 🙄 Just say you don’t like the prequels and go.

edockterman Ratio + L post + failed page + Hayden was always great

edockterman 👀

edockterman Forgive him for being the target of a bunch of assholes’ hate for two decades? Sure. Let’s forgive him for that…

edockterman Pretty shitty headline, Time.

edockterman There was nothing to forgive. Hayden portrayed Anakin just as George Lucas envisioned him. He was perfect, and in general the fans have already recognized that,

edockterman What a dumb thing to say, if anything we should be asking him for forgiveness

edockterman Nope, it's time for people to say sorry to Hayden.

edockterman Forgive Hayden Christensen - For what - he was excellent in portraying Anakin Skywalker and his decent into the Dark Side, there is nothing to forgive, but there are some Star Wars fans who owe Him an apology for the way he was treated along with other actors in the prequals.

edockterman The community needs to ask for forgiveness, not Hayden Get some perspective

edockterman There's nothing to forgive and frankly, Hayden owes the world nothing. Toxic headline. The man practically retired from mainstream crap like this to get away from it all. Have a word with yourself.

edockterman He was great in Episode 3. He needs no forgiveness at all. It’s the fans that brutally attacked him that need to apologize.

edockterman Tell me you haven’t watched starwars without telling me

edockterman I don’t need to forgive an employee for doing his job. How about we forgive Lucas for writing a bad script and stop piling the blame on Hayden.

edockterman Terrible headline. It blames him.

edockterman It was never Hayden’s fault. The only one who should be apologizing right now are the ‘fans’ who decided to make it their life’s mission to hate on him.

edockterman Forgive him for what? A great performance in great films?

edockterman He was great in them though. What is there to forgive

edockterman forgive him ?

edockterman Lucas is great, Hayden is all good. Forget this nonsense.

edockterman The prequels are great films made for the generation who now remembers them fondly as adults. Hayden acted under the direction of George, following George’s script. You’re allowed to not like it but those are the facts. But if you’re looking for who to point a finger at: George.

edockterman Generally people I’ve talked to unfamiliar with the pre-conceived notions of prequel hate ( i.e never watched Red Letter Media’s garbage ) enjoy the story / characters in prequels as they are. I rarely hear them bitch about Jar Jar or Anakin / Padme romance.

edockterman There’s nothing to forgive him for. He was the best parts of those works of art.

edockterman

edockterman Absolutely nothing to forgive. It’s not time to forgive people like you for not appreciating him and them, though

edockterman Any complaint goes to George. Any bad writing wasn’t Hayden’s fault and it was George who picked him, George who says “cut, good” After each take. If George Lucas said to a young actor “I want you to be young Darth Vader.” Your gonna do it!

edockterman It was NEVER his fault. The director and producers were happy with his performance. Never should have been criticized. Watch him in 'Life as a House' - he's a good actor.

edockterman Were we mad at him? That wasn’t his fault

edockterman He did a great job with what they provided. He’s good!

edockterman I liked the prequels… unlike this poorly written article.

edockterman No

edockterman He is great.

edockterman

edockterman I'm not reading an article when it's faulty to begin with. Lucas was the problem. He sucks.

edockterman There’s nothing to forgive. He did the best he could with the material given. Even Natalie, a future Oscar winner, had a hard time with the cringy scripts. And despite all of that, revenge of the sith is still a good film

edockterman No

edockterman They were not good but the buck stops with Lucas, not Christensen

edockterman No, it's really bad, lol. Wasn't his fault, though. There's only so much you can do with the writing, which did none of the actors any favors.

edockterman I liked them. He's good with me.
