'It's crazy out there': Closure of youth clubs across UK 'pushing children to violence'

A government spokesperson told Sky News that they're taking a"twin-track approach, combining tough enforcement to get dangerous weapons off the streets with programmes that steer young people away from crime through Violence Reduction Units ".

Is this one of those things where they tell local authorities they have to provide these activities but without any funding to do it?

A nice way of saying poverty will see a surge in gangs

when you live in a country obsessed with increasing the population , building homes and getting as many cars on the road as possible , local infrastructure takes a back seat ie if it involves enjoyment forget it , every large building in town is now a HMO ,love HEANOR🤔🤨

Poor education and poor parenting and no proper route into work is turning kids to violence.

So a youth club one night a week is stopped and causes a major crime wave in young people. What a joke.

Out of control teenage thugs have been a problem since 1980's when school discipline went out of the window

The parent who has says the closing down of youth centres across the country is 'pushing children to violence' really should acknowledge that the way parents parent has far more to do with child's violence than the shutting down of a youth clubs

The crazy thing is that some people will use the deaths of youths as an opportunity to make money 💰
