POLICE are investigating after a major Irish sports star allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in a Dublin pub on a night out.
The alleged incident took place at around 9pm on Friday - with the woman said to have made a complaint to cops the next morning.Credit: Getty - Contributor Police have now launched an investigation into the claims made against the star, who hasn't been named. They said: "Gardaí in Crumlin are investigating an alleged sexual assault of a woman that occurred, Friday 11th October, 2019 at approximately 9pm on Drimnagh Road, Dublin 12.The sports star is understood to be the same man under investigation after allegedly raping a married woman at a Dublin hotel in December last year, theIn that alleged attack, the star is said to have been on a night out with pals when he hit the woman - leaving her with bruising.
