Iran crisis: what are Britain's options in tanker standoff?

Henry Kissinger, the former US diplomat and occasional adviser to the UK foreign secretary, once wrote: “Policy is the art of the possible, the science of the relative.”

This isn't just a British problem, it's a NATO problem and requires NATO intervention. Britain's issue is lack of naval hardware and resources, long term; World players need world class military resources in Hardware not just personnel.

Britain's a small little island hardly a super power. America started it & Trump seems to love telling the Brits who should run the country maybe the yanks can finish the dispute and leave everyone else out of it.

What alliances we are in the process of throwing most of them away!

To do whatever Iran tells them to do. They have no military capability.

Q1 Who made a decision to seize the Iranian tanker? Q2 How applying EU sanctions to non-EU members can be legal in international law? Q3 Why British tankers were not protected? Q4 Who in the government is responsible for all this mess?

Britain has no right to take over the Iranian vessel and Iran has no right to take over British vessel. Thank Bolton for creating this situation. Release both vessels. Problem will be solved and never listen to a the man with a broom mustache.
