Three incidents in London in the past five weeks have angered police.

On Sunday, 17 January police were called to an illegal gathering in west London.Police have criticised party-goers for making"incredibly selfish" decisions during the coronavirus lockdown.

Superintendent Michael Walsh, of the Met's Central West Basic Command Unit, was speaking after a series of late-night parties in the London borough of Kensington and Chelsea. When told to go home, the attendees became hostile and pushed past officers in an attempt to avoid being fined, police said. Two officers were injured, around 30 fixed penalty notices were issued, and a three-month closure order is being prepared for the establishment, which had already been fined for a previous breach of COVID legislation. On Saturday, 16 January more than 30 people were found socialising in a venue in Ladbroke Grove, police said.

The venue's owner is being considered for a fixed penalty notice amounting to £10,000 and those who attended were told to go home.

Curfew time 6.00 clock this must be stopped we will bloody well be locked down for ever if nothing is done

pritipatel metpoliceuk what’s stopping you from making these kinds of offenses prosecutable? Covid_19

I don't agree they're being selfish. Stopping people living their normal lives, with no well-defined end in sight however.... That is criminal.

😂😂😂😂😂 what’s selfish about going to a party? THE MORE WE COMPLY WITH TYRANNY THE WORSE IT WILL GET

Lock them up for a week!

Selfish tossers

What everyone keeps forgetting to acknowledge is £mil NHS cuts by 10DowningStreet is why we're in this sh*tshow in first place. Hospitals near capacity Every Year, inevitable anything extra would tip over the edge. But sure, us going out sitting on a bench is the real reason.

Good on them. “Three weeks to flatten the curve” they said. Shouldn’t have closed the secure environment of hospitality, this is always going to happen. Life is being stolen.

Great to see, mass non-compliance is the only way out of this fraud

People that like lockdown rules. GO AND LIVE IN A FIELD. people that don’t like lockdown rules. CARRY ON AS BEFORE AND ENJOY LIVING YOUR LIFE. Bedwetters and self righteous pricks ‘that know better😂’ go and hide. Let us NORMAL people crack on.

“A 3 month closure order”. What a ioke. They are open because they are living on fresh air and are already closed.

Some of the ideas on here for punishment are absolutely ludicrous 😂. All Because humans want interaction & engagement with other humans.

What the fook has seafood got to do with it? .. oh wait there it says ‘selfish’ doesn’t it..

They need to stop fining them and instead lock them in for the isolation period with no supplies or medical support. Your party your choice but you ain’t leaving so take your chances.

I don’t think lockdown is working... people dying anyway

people are sick of lockdowns. even after the vulnerable are vaccinated they lockdown continues, why, they have been protected then, this government is taking the people for a joke. the will be voted out at the next general election. utter shambolic handling from start till now

A bunch of thug police and government ministers calling people 'incredibly selfish'. What a joke 😹

Charge them for manslaughter

Gods are impotent rather than stupidity human

Trump hasn't been jailed yet?
