RICHARD MADELEY probed the Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Jonathan Ashworth on whether Labour could overthrow Boris Johnson during a debate on Good Morning Britain.

The news host went as far as to ask Ashworth about deposing the leader while Labour was"ahead in the polls".Madeley said:"Is it in the interests of the Labour Party, the opposition, to have Johnson out of office because at the moment, with him there, you're double figures ahead of him in the polls.

Those breaking the rules should face the consequences. However when the Leicester City Mayor ( Labour) broke lockdown rules on a number of occasions during the first one, the silence from Ashworth and his fellow Leicester Labour MPs was deafening.
