CATRIONA BALFE has explained how her pregnancy 'put a spanner in the works' when it came to fulfilling her directing ambitions behind-the-scenes of Outlander.

Caitriona BalfeThe star candidly spoke about her hopes of getting behind the camera to work on the hit show.Caitriona admitted that she's been wanting to turn her hand to directing on the show for a while, but said that it had been tricky to make it happen.
