UFC legend Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson has explained why he’s never appeared on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

The UFC commentator’s ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ is arguably the most popular podcast on the planet on the planet with around 11 million listeners per episode.Rogan often invites MMA fighters onto his show but Rampage has never made an appearance despite being one of the sport’s biggest stars.’ podcast, Jackson explained that he had a tense exchange with Rogan during his days fighting in the UFC and has therefore never been invited on ‘JRE’.

He said: “We had one thing. Joe and I, we’ve always been cool, right? But then, after a couple of fights in the UFC, he noticed that I wasn’t checking leg kicks and that I wasn’t throwing a lot of leg kicks.“He got real forceful about it and with social media, I had a lot of MMA fans talking about ‘Man, you don’t know how to kick, you don’t know how to check leg kicks.

“So, I stepped to Joe. Like, ‘Joe, man, why are you saying all this s*** about me not knowing how to kick and not checking leg kicks?’ “We had like a few words and stuff and I did say something kind of bad. I got tired of people constantly talking s*** about me.”Advertisement
