not demonisation, re-balancing

This is idiotic

This article was written by a Professor of Critical Race Studies. His response to the report isn’t surprising.

I see it as kicking back against anti racism where it has gone too far. Things that happen to everyone in a particular situation are attributed to racism. Help should be awarded according to need not skin colour. 25 times as many children live in poor white households than black.

Well said .... I could not have put it better myself

This article is full of so many inconsistencies in thought. It almost reads like a psyop against antiracism itself. The mental gymnastics are so dynamic, it is an intellectual feat to have done so. Like David Bowie’s labyrinth. Genius

White privilege is a loaded term that could have easily been replaced with black penalty or colour handicap but they chose a deliberately loaded term because the middle class elite know exactly what they're doing with this crap - covering their own arses for when revolution comes

And to imply that ethnic minority children only achieve success because they're getting preferential treatment at the expense of poor, put upon white, working-class children

Joni Mitchell’s Blue: my favourite song – by James Taylor, Carole King, Graham Nash, David Crosby and moreAs the legendary album turns 50, the musicians it inspired – and those who inspired it – tell us which track means the most to them and why Great article. Life is laid bare in this beautiful album. One of the soundtracks to my student days and totally beloved by one of my housemates who became a friend for life. Always think of her when I play it. Which dickheads choose photos of stars smoking? And she has been so ill directly resultant from her horrible, smelly addiction. Such a shame. I bought two albums when I turned 17 which changed my life. This was one of them, and The Band's 'Last Waltz' (in/on which Mitchell also appeared) was the other.
