Thomas Harvey leaves behind seven children, three grandchildren, and a wife of 22 years
Margaret claimed Thomas was not given personal protective equipment at work before coming down with a cough, shortness of breath, weakness, and aches and pains all over his body. Paramedics had attend his property days before his death, but did not take him to hospital as he did not have a temperature – one of the main symptoms of Covid-19.Margaret told Mirror Online: ‘This is not an old man, he was 57. He should have been taken into hospital and been looked after. Everybody has different symptoms.Advertisement‘If Thomas had died in hospital it would have been a lot easier.
Thomas’ friends and family claim he did not have personal protective equipment when he treated a patient with coronavirus Chief executive of the North East London Foundation Trust that manages Goodmayes hospital, Professor Oliver Shanley OBE, paid tribute to the late staff member.
