HOLIDAYS this year were looking as though they could be in jeopardy. But airlines are now calling on the UK government to drop the 14-day quarantine rules for 45 holiday hotspots around the world.

Instead of the quarantine rules, “air bridges” have been proposed which would see an agreement between two countries to allow quarantine-free travel between the two nations.
