Manchester United welcome Crystal Palace to Old Trafford for the second time in five days this weekend and Erik ten Hag is expected to return to full strength for Premier League action.
Despite the short turnaround, United have been able to welcome two players back into the squad with Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay both available after short illnesses. However, the club confirmed on Friday morning that they would be without Lisandro Martinez and Sergio Reguilon.ALSO READ: Two United players to return vs Crystal Palace
Diogo Dalot was also enjoying the freedom to drift into midfield against a Palace outfit who sat deep, and the Portuguese defender will almost certainly keep his place, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka unavailable through injury. Raphael Varane got 61 minutes under his belt midweek and the 30-year-old will likely start again, this time alongside Victor Lindelof and in front of Andre Onana in goal.
He will likely start alongside Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes in the midfield three that was overrun in that defeat to Spurs, albeit Ten Hag will hope his side can dominate possession and territory as they did in the cup. Eriksen and McTominay will be fit enough for the bench.
