A HERO NHS worker was attacked for her ID badge as she did her food shop in a supermarket in Grimsby.
A warning has been issued to workers by a trust director, telling staff to keep their ID badges out of sight when they are off NHS premises.Jug Johal, security management director at the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust said: "Unfortunately, I can confirm that a member of our staff was attacked in a supermarket this morning with the intention of getting her ID badge.
"Our staff at the trust, and all staff across the NHS and in other key sectors, are working day and night to keep people safe and fight this pandemic. Aimee O'Rourke, 38, and Areema Nasreen, 36, sadly passed away after the pair were both treating patients.
