The makers of the children's book The Gruffalo have drawn their characters practising social distancing to help children understand the regulations.
The Gruffalo was first published in 1999, and tells the story of a mouse taking a walk in the woods - where he out-smarts a terrifying creature with terrible teeth and a"posionous wart on the end of his nose". Scheffler started the process by saying to himself,"what can I do as an illustrator?" during these troubled times.
Just when I thought the BBC stopped being a parody. This headline.
aliettedb Next up will hopefully be an age-appropriate explanation of governmental deception and gaslighting using the Mouse's disinformation campaign as an example. (Except with the twist that the Mouse wasn't killing anyone.)

Is anyone else irked by the way “follow two metres after” no longer fits the meter. FirstWorldProblems

BBCWorld i love the Gruffalo
'Unless you're in the shopping aisles where everyone brushes passed ya' And then you're left coughing and thinking 'was this really worth pasta?'
Should really be self isolating irresponsable
Is this a parody headline?
Kids don’t seem to be the problem. Maybe they should introduce social distancing on re runs of Jeremy Kyle, maybe more effective.
Not funny IDIOTIC
