The BBC is facing a growing crisis over its decision to censure the presenter Naga Munchetty over comments she made about Donald Trump, amid a furious backlash inside and outside the corporation.
Growing from the selective left.... Get it right
deray deserved backlash
Wow BBC, so you're OK, when you interview ppl like Tommy Robinson & they state their hatred ideology, but you've problem in with her, just because she shared her personal experience? Shame on you BBC

deray Everytime I see 'Growing backlash' I automatically translate it to 'Twitter mob'
deray BBCBreaking is slowly turning into FoxNews. Credibility gone.
BBC. Old white posh men mentality run amok.
there is no backlash ................people who lean left and hate trump don't agree ........people who are more conservative agree with the decision ...... for impartiality reasons even if they disagree with what trump said
Complaint's against Mr Parker, closing soon
100% deserved. Racism isn't a story one can agree to disagree upon. It is a fact of life for millions in the UK. Naga Munchetty told her story which was only being discussed due to the egregious and well-documented racism of Trump. She did nothing actionable.
BBC impartiality must be maintained at all costs... 🙄
Technically the BBC were correct to uphold the complaint but commonsense should have prevailed on this matter. It does not in anyway give any justification to accuse the BBC of being racist. Just a difficult set of circumstance brought about due to the abhorrence of Trump
The BBC have put themselves into a difficult position on the just as Naga was placed into a difficult position on this broadcast It is right and understandable the support for Naga Munchetty and the BBC have a fine line to protect in respects to impartiality.
Good ruling by the BBC for a change ParisCummings_
👏👏👏 RT : Growing backlash against BBC in BBCNaga Munchetty race row
Abolish the BBC!
This woman has been the victim of racism all of her life, and when she dares spend 30 seconds talking of her experience, she gets slapped down by a majority white/male organisation. Shamefully disgraceful attitude from the BBC.
OFCOM now investigating her. Daily Mail readership have been very active in recent weeks .
This is shocking all because she apoke up about racism and said that donald trump was racist when in fact he is its actually disgusting how shes been treated
Why did she use an American expression to describe herself?
God forbid we censor a Remainer
Time to reconsider the Licence fee - why pay for an organisation that fears government. Is this another symptom of an autocratic state controlled by establishment lackeys?
Why pay a licence fee tax to watch presenters going off on a rant? They can do it in a private capacity.
Haha it gets better and better the execs are still refusing to acknowledge that maybe the need to review this- I’m not even a Naga fan but for some reason I find this story fascinating.
Another bandwagon to jump on !!!
I think she's a racists and hates white people.
She's fit but should be sacked for hysterical abuse.
Prefer channel4news and 5_News BBC out of touch with the public and biased.
This makes me sick. She ought to quit her cushy number and fight a real fight. Her plea during a news bulletin is nothing but knee jerk, attention seeking virtue signalling reactionary bs.
Quite rightly so.
Good! Rob Burley needs to go. BBC news has become a joke under his stewardship and this should be the final straw.
I'm not a fan of Naga. But 'go back to where you came from' = racist language Trump says 'go back to where you came from' It's equals signs, not personal politics.
The Brexit Party are going to overhaul how the BBC is funded. I would have thought they would be worrying about that.
So this is where we are Not where we had wanted to be If half the worlds gone mad The other half just dont care You see You dont wanna fuck with us British to the very last When it feels like the world's gone mad And theres nothing you can do about it No theres nothing you can do
BBC out of touch with public opinion.
