Greggs customer smashes shop to pieces causing £2,000 damage after losing a £1 coin behind the counter 😅

POLICE are hunting a man who caused more than £2,000 worth of damage to a Greggs bakery after he dropped a £1 coin and couldn't find it.

The man became aggressive and smashed the shop to pieces when staff couldn't retrieve his pound coin which fell behind the counter in the shop in Christchurch, Dorset.Police are hunting for the man who lost his £1 coin - then ripped apart the Greggs counter in angerEnraged by the ordeal, the customer then began ripping the counter apart - causing over £2,000 worth of damage to the Saxon Street branch of the bakery.- asking for the public to help identify him.

Constable Kelly Cole, from East Dorset police, said: "Following enquiries into this incident, I have obtained CCTV images of a man I would like to speak to.Dorset Police are investigating an allegation of criminal damage in relation to the incident. The force said in a statement: "At 4.41pm on Saturday 28 December 2019 a man entered Greggs bakery on Saxon Square.BreakingSnow maps reveal areas to be hit in next 48 hours - is your town on the list?Man & girl, 10, killed as blaze rips through house in Hull"He became aggressive towards staff when a £1 coin was dropped behind the counter that staff could not retrieve.
