Hilda Churchill, from Salford, died at Kenyon Lodge care home, in Little Hulton on Saturday just hours after being diagnosed with Covid-19

A grandmother who survived both world wars and the Spanish flu outbreak of 1919 died hours after being diagnosed with coronavirus.The 108-year-old did not have severe symptoms and her family had hoped she would pull through to celebrate her 109th birthday on April 5, reports the Manchester Evening News.
