Staff were left heartbroken after the majority of their newly created outdoor play area was destroyed

A nursery in north east Glasgow has been given a boost in the form of new play equipment after they were targeted by vandals.

The majority of the outdoor play area was destroyed by the fire including new planters and playground equipment.Nursery staff were left heartbroken by the incident which happened just a few months after they created the outdoor garden area. "We spent a long time trying to get grant funding for these structures, and we raised some of the money ourselves, buying one piece of equipment here, another bit there. It's just a nightmare."
