A devastated granny worries that she will be "dead by Christmas" as her health worsens following dampness in her Govan home.
The dampness affects her living room and kitchen. Jean's bedroom walls are also riddled with gaping holes and cracks. "She finds her current housing to be damp and cold which will be having an impact on her severe COPD." "It worsened my condition and I can’t go out now or do anything. I have deteriorated through being in this room .
"I can only move three streets away where I have people to help me otherwise I’m on my own starving. They could’ve given me one of those bungalows with a ramp, it would’ve done me fine and it would’ve given me a wee bit of stability. Jean would love to get her life back to normal and to be able to breathe normally. "I just want a house where I can be happy and I don’t feel closed in.", she said."I’d love to go to the shops again and be able to pick up some tea bags. I am fed up with it, they don’t give a toss.
