'Enough is enough. British children have been treated appallingly during the coronacrisis,' writes allisonpearson ResultsDay

“I’m scared for Thursday.” The brief text from a friend that pinged on my phone in the small hours of yesterday morning needed no further explanation. Parents across the country will be experiencing the same gnawing knot in the gut, the same foreboding. My friend’s twins get their A-level results tomorrow. Both are predicted good grades and should make their university offers.

allisonpearson Then headline a call for his resignation. Before the GCSE’s come out.

allisonpearson My WhatsApp messages have gone ballistic today with messages from friends with children who received AlevelResults today, none of them got what was expected, many 1 to 2 grades less. Hopes dashed, dreams shattered. Not a happy day ☹️

rdgresident allisonpearson Normally pupils only have themselves to blame for poor results this year they have someone else to blame?

allisonpearson No they haven’t.

allisonpearson Private schools have done well compared to state schools. What a bloody shock.

allisonpearson

AmandeepBhogal allisonpearson Absolutely rubbish! My daughter and all her friends have loved being off and not sitting any exams, as any kid would do!

allisonpearson But how do we know what they deserve?

AmandeepBhogal allisonpearson I am a happy parent 3As from daughter. So proud 😃

AmandeepBhogal allisonpearson So grades are expected to be higher than ever after 4 months of home schooling, so I guess for the benefit of kids all them lefty school teacher will be out of work next year !

allisonpearson

Max_reflect allisonpearson British children have been treated badly for 30 yrs... castratepaedophiles

allisonpearson What about previous years' pupils? And next years?

allisonpearson 🤣🤣🤣🤣

allisonpearson My kid's have had 4 months off school. They don't think they've been treated appallingly.

allisonpearson They really have, they've been locked up in their homes unable to see their friends and then Scotland screwed them out of their grades. It's a hard enough time for school leavers without the lockdown.

allisonpearson Where are the traditional & inappropriate photo's of 'fruity, barely legal' A-level girls celebrating their exam results? crusty Telegraph readers will not stand for them being replaced by sad faces and 'outrage'.

allisonpearson Last year she didn't like the exam system?

allisonpearson But the Torygraph allowed Education Secretary Gavin Williamson to pretend allowing students to receive their proper assessed grade would harm their future career by getting a job they are not able to do. The paper is a joke.

allisonpearson Ask an Expert how to Stop a Virus! - 'Sterilise everything!' Creating a dead environment, where nothing can live. Including you & your family. the Economy, Jobs, Prospects, Future. - Sterile, Dead & Socially unworkable Society!

allisonpearson Truly awful.

allisonpearson I assume her kids didn’t get the grades they needed since she is incapable of empathy....

allisonpearson This you mate?

allisonpearson God help them all if that idiot of a journalist gets anywhere near them - they really will be in trouble then

'If I give up, all my effort is for nothing': international students thrown into Melbourne lockdown despairCut off from coronavirus government support and with few immediate job prospects, many students are desperate I mean, I know why, but why can't we just be nice and help people who need it... Like, who does it hurt, so what if a tiny percentage might be taking advantage... How is the end goal of a lot more happy people worse than what we have right now? Rosary, bible, eu de cologne, sandwiches, razor & a soap. I prayed he come back alive. So much sadness there.
