Girl, 13, put into isolation at school for wearing winged eyeliner in lessons

A school put a 13-year-old pupil into isolation over her make-up, with her mum accusing the institution of "discrimination".

Another brat trying it on. Most teachers know the type. The problem is always more than the make up.

Well, she’ll learn more about life by being put in isolation for wearing eye liner, than she would by being treated as a young woman, who needs to learn the skills she will need to make a future for herself? She’ll have enough isolation waiting for her there. 🤬

Uniform is for everyone should look the same, the clue is in the name.

My 14yr old wouldn’t be leaving the house with that kind of makeup on..she wears a little bit of mascara at most

School is for learning, not a fashion show or a beauty contest. Break the rules suffer the punishment. This is why kids are out of control these days, never taught that rules are there for a reason.

How difficult is it to follow school rules, shouldnt her parents say dont go to school with make up on, especially at that age. Thats the trouble with todays generation, they think they can just do as they please and flout all rules.

If it's not part of her school uniform and rules then her actions have a consequences!! However her eyeliner is on point follow school rules and you won't be put in isolation. Instead of your mum being a wetwipe and running to the press!!!

Nothing wrong with the eyeliner but not appropriate for school so she had to be told .
