Why confine your swimwear to the beach?

At the launch event for the capsule in New York, Gigi demonstrated that there’s no need to confine the collection to the beach. The model wore a swimsuit from the collab adorned with a sweet fawn pattern, a print she chose as a nod to her own journey as mother to her baby daughter, Khai.

Gigi styled the swimsuit like a bodysuit, teaming it with low-rise trousers, an offbeat shirt that covered her arms and shoulders, heels and layered crystal jewellery. She also subtly paid tribute to her friend Virgil Abloh, who passed away last year, carrying a bright blue monogrammed clutch from the late designer’s autumn/winter 2020 menswear show for Louis Vuitton.
