The “completely preserved” 26.5 million-year-old fossil comes from an extinct species of giant rhino measuring 16 feet at the shoulder, taller than a giraffe, and weighing 20 tonnes - as much as four African elephants.They say it lived in the late part of the Oligocene, a period that lasted 11 million years until about 23 million years ago and when mammals including prehistoric elephants, horses and deer roamed.
