Business as usual in England while Covid infections rise A sense in government that being bold about reopening worked – something they will be reluctant to reverse. Also hopes that next week’s half-term break for schools will act as a mini firebreak

Why is England driving the rise in UK Covid cases?A drop-off in mask wearing and slow uptake of booster jabs are among the reasons for the continuing growth It simple. Govt policy from day 1 has been to allow Covid rip through the population (Sweden method), only locking down when nhs hospitals looked like they’ll be overwhelmed. Since hospitalisation and deaths are low enough there is no reason to do anything Don't want masks, nor social distancing, you're living as if nothing's happening or happened. you must know the vaccines per se don't make the virus disapear. So, what do you really want? What do you really think? As the french, you want to be freed? There you have it,freedom. A belief that its indomitable spirit will overcome all adversity. The one trick pony overlooks logic, sound judgement and community consideration as an easier path.
