andrealeadsom I rarely engage directly with such ignorance but speaking personally I’ve been furloughed since March 2020. The effect of this upon my physical and mental health has been quite astonishing . It is fair to fear for the end of this process and what that may bring.

You the should know better then to write this. Either they are Furloughed, in which case they can be taken off Furlough at any point the employer wants or they are WFH which is a completely differant case and nothing to do with Furlough.
Stop furlough. Most companies are working again. Very few industries aren't open now so it should only be those on furlough. Companies claim furlough payments so if their employees won't work they're breaching their contract which is dismissable.
Not understanding the needs and the mental health of the working population is the story of this government🤦🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️

An example of a wealthy MP demonstrating how in touch they are with the people. Apparently, they chose not to fund isolation adequately because they thought people would abuse it and catch Covid deliberately. Many Tories seem to favour the economy of health. I wonder why?

The furloughed workers I know are looking to get back to work. It means they still have a job. Pretty sure if you refuse to return to work once furlough ends would end up in some form disciplinary process.
If they don't want to go back, stop their money, they'll soon change their minds. You either work for a firm and follow their instructions or you find another job.

Furlough does not equal working from home. I've been working from home (or living at work as one of my friends call it) for the whole time - no furlough for me. I've done more work and more hours in that time. Going back to the office will make me less productive and cost me more
