Former F1 race director Masi to get Supercars Commission role

Masi is in line to replace outgoing chairman Neil Crompton who walked away from the decision-making panel at the end of June. Should it happen, it will be Masi's first role since his split with the FIA following the controversial finale to the 2021 Formula 1 season in Abu Dhabi.

Clearly Masi gets high off power and why he turned out his new desk job at the FIA for the chairman position at supercars. But yes, this isn't a good advertisement for supercars principles and morals and more importantly this is a sign supercars are Red Bull fans
