Maybe 500 hours unpaid community service cleaning out school toilets in the poorest areas would be a more effective deterrent than a fine.

She never expected to get caught. If her daughter wasn't pulling her weight in HS, she definitely isn't going to pull her weight in college. She could've gone to another college to boost her GPA & transferred to college of choice. Kids work HARD to improve test scores!

she should get a minimum of 5 years for stealing an education that's what the poor homeless mother got for saying she lived closer to a good school

Was case in CA where homeless black woman used uncle’s address so her child could go to a good school. She was sentenced to 5 years in prison, which was awful & unjust for the crime, but how is Felicity only looking at 1 month when her crime was significantly more egregious?

Felicity Huffman, sit up and take your punishment.
