THERE ARE fears the world could be rocked by a second global pandemic after more African swine fever cases were discovered in Germany. The DNA of the African swine fever (ASF) virus was also found in a sausage at a grocery warehouse in Russia hours later.

Whilst the disease is harmless to humans it can be fatal to pigs.
