A MAN dressed as Santa has been in a bust up at a Tesco store in Liverpool.

A member of staff at the store confirmed today another employee - clad in a traditional Santa suit - was set upon by a shoplifter this afternoon.The scrooge set-upon the Tesco Father Christmas after "shouting at him" at the Deysbrook Barracks store.A fight ensued between the pair after one witness reported seeing the theif and Santa arguing.A witness told the Liverpool Echo: "At around 2pm a man was shouting at Father Christmas who was at the grotto.
