Outrage as jury CLEARS Extinction Rebellion over railway blocking stunt after judge said it’s their human right to protest

Philip Kingston, 85, Reverend Sue Parfitt, 79, and Martin Newell, 54, are cleared. Trio climbed on Docklands Light Railway train at Shadwell station in East London.

They are members of Christian Climate Action within environmental group XR. All three denied obstructing an engine or carriage on railway in October 2019. Nine days ago, four other protesters were cleared over Colston statue toppling

British justice a joke…..I bet the judge wasn’t on the train…earn ur money! Would it be the same holding up emergency & security services?

This is justice in BorisJohnson England 2022 - been allowed to run out of control and pander to vociferous minorities.

Is it so what he say if it was at his front door.

It maybe a right to protest but you don't have a right to prevent people from going about their day to day lives.

UK justice system is a complete joke.

They were cleared by a jury. Who’s ‘outraged’?

Bloody judges

But not cause criminal damage or breach of the peace 😏

Because judge says it's right to protest doesn't make it right

Yes we have a fundamental right of protest (currently) in this country.

You really should be outraged about the danger humanity is being put in by climate change instead. In less wealthy parts of the world, it's already causing tortuous suffering to some. Locking up peaceful protesters is not a good use of taxpayers' money.

So are you saying it isn’t a human right to protest ?

Would love to know who was on the jury?

Even if that means denying other people’s human right to go to work and earn a living?
