John Dillon, 55, from Knowsley Village, used the handle "DeepOasis" to try and evade detection from police as he operated his "drugs empire". Dillon took a leading role in selling multi-kilos of Class A drugs which he sourced from drug cartels in Europe and Colombia.
Dillon was jailed for 18 years and nine months at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday, September 28 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to import and supply Class A drugs.Detective Inspector Dave Worthington from the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit said: "Dillon was trusted by members of the community in Kirkby where he held the role of director and coach at the local amateur boxing club.
