Emmerdale secrets unravel as character leaves village in episode moved online for World Cup

Another Emmerdale resident has uncovered the truth about Al Chapman's death as the village bade a teary goodbye to a much-loved friend.

The prison visit does not bring the answers Matty had hoped for, so, desperate for answers, he sets a trap for his uncle Mackenzie Boyd. Cornering him in the kitchen, Matty pretends Cain had told him the truth at last but Mack quickly sees through the lie.Already wracked with guilt about his affair with Chloe Harris, Mack decides to get at least one other secret off his chest and tells Matty why Moira and Kyle disappeared so suddenly - ie that Kyle shot Al.

Matty then threatens to tell everyone inside the pub if Mack continues to refuse to call Moira. Mack eventually gives in and when Matty finally gets to talk to her, he tells her: "Mum, you need to come home and bring Amy and Kyle with you. It is likely that this means the trio will now return to Emmerdale. Meanwhile, the village said goodbye to Vanessa Woodfield who is moving to Canada with her son Johnny.
