Editorial: The prime minister seems to have miscalculated the strength of public feeling, which is surprising given that the 10 Downing Street operation run by Mr Cummings often boasts of the speed and sophistication of its daily opinion polling

Instead, the prime minister defended him on Sunday and Mr Cummings himself gave a long account of himself on Monday.

He doesn’t care about that, he thinks we are all stupid enough to get past every single thing he does. As all narcissists he thinks he’s more clever than the rest of us

Hop you don’t expect me to feel sorry for them, I feel sorry for those of us who aren’t but still have to go through this

😂🤡

What a load of rubbish

Exactly what proof have they to make such a claim, Boris has great plans, once the virus is beaten, for the North of the country with its infrastructure improvements, new hospitals and improved educational facilities, this is just the Toilet Roll propaganda.

Anyone who trusted him in the first place should have known better !

No. He’s being who he’s always been, who he was prior to election and during GE. He’s been hiding in plain sight for all (first time Tory) voters to see. It’s not even an extrapolation; this is who he is.

What’s the difference between Stephen Kinnock & Dominic Cummings on their response to Covid 19 Lockdown and potential breaches🤔🤔🤔 oh Kinnock supported Remain in 2016 so did I but I moved on the PressRemainers should move on over Brexit which is what this is really all about

He is betrayed everyone’s trust. The Govt has lost control of lockdown and are continually lying about PPE, testing numbers, TTI, the list is endless. Absolute shambles and people are dying in the process.

He’s betraying/the trust of Ll, after the Cummings affair yiu can’t trust him with anything

Like we all knew he would!

Lol. All those people who lent him their vote wil now reap what they have sown. Same with Brexit, the promises will not match the reality, not even remotely.

So who would have done better in an u inquest crisis, Comrade Corby?😭. Easy to carp, see that human rights Starmer is keeping his head down.

Shocker

I hate to shit on your parade here but he’s betraying the trust of everytime Conservative voters too.

Stop talking shit.

I don’t think so at all

Boris is doing a good job. He is stable and calm

They believed his tom foolery...

More fool them

What did they expect?

BorosJohnson he has treated all people as insignificant mugs. So long as his elite group is ok, that's all he appears to care for. They have had plenty of time to sort this out but instead doubled down. I am hugely disappointed by the lies, deceit, arrogance & hypocrisy.

were the torries ever really trust worthy?

Dominic Cummings and Boris Johnson have wrecked something precious | Jonathan FreedlandTheir actions may damage the Tories’ political prospects, but the real victim is the British people’s trust in those in charge, says Guardian columnist Jonathan Freedland Breathe freedom. Good. The British people *shouldn't* trust who is in charge. Because the people in charge, and especially the Tories, are incompetent, self-serving, and often criminal, and the people should be resisting them and trying to hold them to account.
