DR Ranj praises "brave and courageous" Phillip Schofield for coming out as gay and insists the This Morning team are "like family".
Phillip was at the centre of a This Morning civil war after both Amanda Holden and Ruth Langsford filed complaints against him, while his relationship with Holly was said to be "strained".However, the team have put on a united front since Phillip came out as gay live on air earlier this month."We call ourselves a family, and we behave like a family in so many way.
"I think Phillip has been incredibly brave and courageous - it's never easy for anyone to come out like that - regardless of their situation, or circumstances. "I really respect him for what he's done. I have been in a similar situation myself, and I know exactly what it involves and how it feels at the time.
