Novak Djokovic will be 'mentally hurt for a long time' by Australian Open visa saga AusOpen

“He humbly endured all measures. But what they did to him must mark him. It is clear that it hit him mentally. It will hurt him for a long time and it will be difficult to get it out of his head.

“However, I know him very well. Novak is strong, resolute and has not yet said his last word in tennis.” Djokovic will have a fight on his hands to play the next Grand Slam of the year if he does not choose to get vaccinated. The French government have ruled that athletes must be vaccinated in order to play the French Open in May.“I don’t understand … why it’s important for them to announce this now about the tournaments that will take place in May, when the world doesn’t even know what will happen to the pandemic in a month,” said Vajda.

“I do not want to underestimate the whole situation. It is serious in the world. But what is the purpose of discussing it now in January? Is it still about sport?”

Perfect opportunity for me to say it how it is and not care about those who disagree with me …. “Fuck him”

All of his own making, tried to make mugs of the authorities & it didn’t work ,the French are letting him know early enough to stop another fiasco, why so early because Covid isn’t going away anytime soon, over to Djokovic for next move I guess .

I'm sure he will get over it sitting in his mansion

Im sure he will be ok when he looks at his bank account

Not as long as those children in Serbia if they contact Covid-19 from him...

Lovely return of Serb from the Aussies

Mentally hurt Christ imagine If something serious happened

Mentally hurt. Sure. He’s got one of the strongest mindsets - he’s an elite athlete. If he is saying he’s hurt then he’s lying. Get over it. You’re not vaccinated and Aus requires that you must be. That’s it. Move on.

Who is worried

I feel his pain! Not

Then he should have got the vaccine Australia are clear in their rules.

Awww poor thing
