Andy Murray dismayed by Novak Djokovic's 'really bad' situation

Shaimaa Khalil reports from Melbourne's Park Hotel on the latest twist in the Djokovic visa row

While foreigners can fly in to Australia on a visa applied for online, they must still clear immigration customs on arrival at the airport. When the 34-year-old arrived in Melbourne, Australia's federal government cancelled his visa. Now Djokovic's lawyers are appealing on the basis that he fulfils the criteria for a vaccine exemption because of a recent coronavirus infection.

Andy Murray should be dismayed at Djokovic’s anti vaxx position and the bad example he sets. Bad for tennis absolutely but for a different reason. Djokovic is being a really bad example! And now Murray is too.

Well hopefully he gets booted out Australia he doesn't want vaccine in his body he says water can heal people tht says it all he's crazy water omg wat does he think will happen if he gets vaccine not going make his hair flat hope he loses Aussies chuck him out

There has to be one rule for us all

I'm sorry you're all up in arms over this. But has anyone given thoughts to the risks involved?..... Australia has always been unique with their rules and restrictions. These are in place for a reason!

Apparently for his next trick he's heading to the UK to pull down a statue

‘Not good for tennis’? Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

I enjoy the thought of the rabid COVID cowards skimming through the story in the hope that Murray gets involved with their psychopathic persecution of a man choosing his own medical treatments. I guess lots more dogs will be punched after that disappointment.

Too many highly privileged sportsmen appear to be antivaxx Prima Donnas. Australia has been a salutary moment.
