Disgraced Tory MP Neil Parish, who resigned his seat on Saturday after admitting he had twice watched pornography in thechamber, appeared to have committed a criminal offence which carried a maximum two-year prison sentence, Labour said.
FFS he watched a bit of porn - there’s far bigger crimes going on.
He broke law but porn represents a disgusting ideology about women ! Especially today . Problem has not been solved .
I wonder how many broke the law Government is corrupt smh
He didn’t break the law as the Commons Chamber is not a public place and the legislation cited requires it to be. Jess Phillips is good but not a lawyer. We don’t know the ‘porn’ was any worse than simulated sex we see on national TV stations after 9pm.
The funniest thing about this story is the fact that in another country 'free, law abiding country' has a president who grabbed women by the p***y, admitted it and 10s of millions voted for him. TWICE 😂😂😂😂
He should have said he was observing Ukrainian tractors, not the pornographic ones.
He'll be back as the head of some regulatory body like the BBFC
What on earth possessed him to do this ? He has thrown away his career embarrassed his family and for what a cheap thrill !! It is so very seedy but one has to question why he felt he could do this ? The whole culture in Westminster needs to change ..Starting from the very top !
I have little sympathy for NPexMP ? whether “the side of the chamber” is a ‘public place’ within the meaning of the statute: sub s(3)’.. “public place”, in relation to the display of any matter, means any place to which the public have or are permitted to have access ..’
Anti same sex marriage, pro Brexit, ticks the usual boxes.
Before we go onto the next scandal...can we be shown some actual footage of Ghislaine Maxwell's arrest? And don't tell me the FBI didn't film it. Or can we see any recent photo that isn't a courtroom sketch? I guess mainstream media agrees Epstein's customers should go free?
