But the business lost £51.2million in the six months to July 31 as Covid travel restrictions hit hard. That compares to a £34.2million loss a year earlier. The company was careful not to get too carried away with recent successes, warning: “There remains some uncertainty within the travel industry surrounding the longer-term impact of Covid-19.”2

The news suggests holidaymakers are becoming more confident about travelling again after the Covid vaccine roll-out
