Cross-border 'cluster' of coronavirus cases identified across south-west Scotland and north-west England

A cross-border"cluster" of coronavirus cases has been identified across south west Scotland and north west England.

He stressed that the last positive cases in the Dumfries and Galloway health board area had come on 22 June. "That adds a complexity because some of the testing will have been done in England and some of the testing will have been done in Scotland," he said.

No shit Sherlock 🕵️‍♂️

What border? Boris imagined it away....

devisridhar Someone show where there is a border against the movement of people across it between Scotland and England? It is not border between two sovereign nations. An administrative limit is not a border for a virus & is the worst possible way of selecting one for public health reasons

devisridhar Sign is something symbolic only as implied by Boris Johnson at PMQs.

devisridhar ✌

devisridhar 9 cases.

devisridhar At some point cross border transmission will need to be addressed if there remains such a marked discrepancy between Scotland & England. (Same goes for Wales/England)

Wee Jimmy getting rid of her problems.

8 cases back to 22 June all under control. Also BBC news the stats for your area.

Honestly you are getting more pathetic by the day Beeb. DefundTheBBC

I’m off up to Galloway in a few weeks... I’ll just wind the car windows up when I drive through the NW and Dumfries area.

Why is this news? The border is a line on a map but doesn't exist in real life. It's like saying there's a cross motorway cluster between Manchester and Liverpool. You are just echoing the Nationalist agenda. Shame on you DefundTheBBC

So what. It’s a cold virus with a more than 95% total recovery rate. Funnily it’s very similar to influenza in that way.

SCOTLAND. Coronavirus (COVID-19): daily data for Scotland. 1 July 2020. 1 new reported death(s) of people who have tested positive, Scotland's death toll 2,486. coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) COVID19 Scotland

Build build build that wall between Scotland and England. Build build build that wall between Scotland and England. Build build build that wall between Scotland and England. Boris does not care for Scotland. He just wants to please his donors. So build build build that wall.

Our R value is 0.7 and decreasing in NW so that is a start!

God Bless all people affected
