Covid infection rates in England are STILL going up, random testing reveals

The number of people infected with the coronavirus in England jumped up by 15% in the week ending July 24. The Office for National Statistics estimates one in 65 people had Covid on any given day that week. But there are signals the pandemic may have slowed with infection rates plateauing in parts of the country.
