England is set to move from the government’s COVID Plan B to Plan A on Thursday.

The other nations in the UK are also moving to less stringent restrictions, but are not opening up to the level of England. Face coverings no longer legally required by law in any setting, except public transport in London where they will remain mandatory. Public health guidance will continue to advise using face coverings in “crowded and enclosed spaces”

Any local introduction of face coverings must be routinely reviewed and “removed at the earliest possibility”Advertisement

The great unmasking, sigh.

The word “plan” is doing some heavy lifting here

A months time and infections will be out of control, so hope I'm wrong and will be glad if I am. This virus us running rampant amongst children, only a matter of time before that results in adult infections...no masks, no more Plan B...🤷‍♀️

I’m sure the virus will now let us get on with life and not infect any more people
