Couple in 'only chance' wedding in Milton Keynes Hospital

Elizabeth Kerr and Simon O'Brien were married moments before he was put on a mechanical ventilator

Elizabeth Kerr, 31, and Simon O'Brien, 36, were taken to Milton Keynes University Hospital with breathing difficulties on 9 January.They held off intubating Mr O'Brien so the ceremony could go ahead. The couple are now recovering in hospital.Both contracted the disease and were taken to hospital together when their oxygen levels fell dangerously low.

What an f...ing joke! Cause I'm fit and healthy I have had to cancel my May 2020 wedding and potentially will have to cancel my April 2021 wedding all because I take care of myself.
