As the UK introduces tighter covid restrictions, we look back at the six months since lockdown was first announced.Haamed is a junior doctor dealing with the sharp end of the medical impact of coronavirus and the tragic consequences. But he's also trying to plan his wedding.
Kathryn is also on the wards as a nurse. She's Australian... does she try and get home quickly or stick it out helping here? Jade's another key worker - trying to keep the supermarket shelves stocked with food as shortages soon kick in. And teaching assistant Phoebe decides to move in with her boyfriend's family while worrying about her vulnerable grandparents who are at the other end of the country.

perspective
It's been about 8½ months since tourists from China visited abroad for escaping from the coronavirus and for breathing 'clean' air (they said so), and to Japan for binge-shopping face masks. The world is still in this pandemic. 2020 has been cancelled. But calendar never waits.
Katie383980 Shut the bloody schools asap
The scaremongering from the MSM is deceitful. It is understood that many people think 7% of the population have died from Covid. This is total nonsense. The death rate is about 0.06%, i.e. 600 in a million. Av age 82. The lockdown has caused more deaths. You are responsible.
It must not always happen that we would see this world as we have seen it 6 months ago.. many uncertainties have created in our minds. It seems as if our lives and livelihoods become obsessed! But could we deny that we didn't keep our living planet under obsession?
We're all doomed!!!! Negative, negative, negative, just shows how the attitudes have altered over the years and that most people now think the world owes them their existence
Never mind people. At least we will have more of these dancing nurses to cheer us all up until March and then into perpetuity.
With all the Covid deniers, I am not hopeful for the future.

Whether you stay home or go out.. One thing that will never changes is EVERY DAY, YOU AND I ARE GETTING OLDER... OUR AGES CAN'T STOP TILL PANDEMIC ENDS...
my god what a load of wokes, thank god they didnt live during world war one or two? this country is breeding the wrong kind of people, to cope with any disaster.
It is amazing how many people bbc can get to whinge and moan about anything the government does on their news programs. Perhaps the pouting nurse would be better employed on a till somewhere.
Nothing like as bad as the Winter of Discontent when Labour, the unions and their Moscow paymasters conspired to Britain to its knees.
If this had happened even 15 years ago it would be much worse. Yes we can’t socialise or see each other in person but the technology is so advanced we can speak and see each other whenever we want. Be glad if that technology.
The brightest note is the glamorous girls like that one now coming to study - brighten the miserable place up. Young, optimistic, full of energy - instead of a world of boring old farts.
Boring, boring, boring. Dead culture, half life, country full of brainless zombies - scared ones. Thank god for my holiday in Rome. I'm still alive as I write this.
Make schools safe or close then!
Stop infringing on my first world problems. *sad music*
I’m farting rainbows! What the f**k do you think?!!
Life is still the same and normal
