Don't they get it... their sky god is not coming to save them

No desire to see any form of religion promoted on the BBC but, boy, it makes a change from the usual brand that Auntie unstintingly promotes on a daily basis.

What an absolute waste of time

Try the vaccine instead people.

I also meet up with my imaginary friend and talk to them

Good people, getting together for a nice cause. What is the need to leave nasty comments? Why is the kind, peaceful act so upsetting? It's ironic that people attack religion, when it's disrespectful aggressors who are the problem in this world, not those in the article.

As much as it does no harm it also does no good. Surely some community service would be more in keeping with what fella on the cross was actually about.

Praying - telling your god he is wrong.

They said my boy was in a better place now. Well they can f…….k right off with their mumbo jumbo.

What a complete and utter waste of time. What century do they think we live in?

I'm an Atheist and find all the triggered non believers in the comments bewildering. A group of Christians went on a walk. They didn't force non believers to go with them and we have vaccines now. It seems Atheism is getting more and more toxic and a little authoritarian?

Instead of, you know, ACTUALLY doing something like volunteering, making PPE, making meals for healthcare workers. You know, ACTUAL things.

If only they did this last March.

Ok

Probably be doing more in regards to covid by praying indoors. Maybe not gathering in crowds too...

Jesus: 'y'all a year and a half too late, get outta here'

If you believe in god and that god does everything and is everywhere then he has caused covid ! All i know about god is what i know about ghosts , they dont exist grow up

What for? To ask their god to save them from the plague he himself sent to them?

Not really an all loving God that let this happen. The Pope has had a COVID jab. Shows a distinct lack of faith in God.
