China has said it will take countermeasures against the UK should it grant residency to Hongkongers fleeing a harsh new national security law, promising that the UK would “bear all consequences”.

These British fools ruled Hong Kong for more than 150 years, never treated Hong Kong people as citizens equally, but now want to give up those Hong Kong independence fathers

I respect China and I think they are a serious country. I hope any Hong Kong resident trying to take up this offer is blocked by China. Sorry not sorry, the British citizenry have not voted for this. We do not need or want 3 million Hong Kongers to migrate here.

Is China going to retaliate by offering sanctuary to Brits who voted against Brexit and now face persecution in the UK? Or in an even more dastardly move, offer sanctuary to Brexiters who have only just realised they will no longer have access to holiday homes in Europe?
