The deal, Netflix’s first investment in the UK, has the option for Netflix to take full control of Broke and Bones by the end of an undisclosed multi-year term, and gives it exclusivity over its series and other projects.

As well as the mockumentary, this means that all future series of Black Mirror will be available on Netflix. The anthology series had two series and a Christmas special on Channel 4 before moving to Netflix, where it has run for three series – two of six episodes, one of three – and an interactive feature-length movie, Bandersnatch.
