“Through this podcast, I’ve learned that there are people who are really trying to make an active difference. The industry has really come on so much since my post first caught people’s attention. The role that social media plays in conversations about body image has rapidly increased over the last decade. Although it is regularly viewed as a negative space, Facebook did give Howard the platform to share her message about why she left her modelling agency.“I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with it. Of course there are people on it who don’t use it for good, but all of us now have the power to control who we follow and who follows us.
