Hey BBC, do a story on the actual cost of one single illegal immigrant in your country. Benefits, healthcare, housing, food, police, yet none work legally. My guess you spend at least $250,000 US dollars a year per illegal, all while your taxpayers get nothing.
If we had more cooperation among humans, no one would have to leave their countries to go somewhere else. We have enough knowledge and resources as humans for everyone to be living well but instead we choose to compete against each other and put each other down.
