And now the tabby has been purring away at home after instantly recognising her owner.Workers at the farm in Dyce, near Aberdeen, had noticed the animal around the stables over the past couple of years, but after asking local residents about her, had assumed she was a stray.

Yet when a vet was checking the horses, one stable girls asked if she was carrying a scanner to check for microchips – and that revealed Debbie’s contact details.‘It’s absolutely nuts she’s been found.
