Fans of Casualty went wild as former co-stars Amanda Mealing and Jane Hazlegrove reunited on the set of Coronation Street.
She then sang her mates’ praises, saying she is a dream to work with, adding: "@itvcorrie only gave me one scene to direct her in but it just takes one scene for Ms Hazelgrove to smash it!” A third said: “Great pic of you 2 casualty legends” as more fans said it was amazing to see them back together again.
Earlier this year it was revealed that Amanda, who also appeared in Holby City in her eighteen years playing Connie, would be joining the team at Coronation Street to work behind the scenes.
